Northwest Arkansas Bakers Against Racism
Catalyzed by the murders of Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, and George Floyd, I collaborated with Annie Clapper of The Family Crumb to create graphics for a regionwide bake sale.
The main objective was to create a brand identity and accompanying graphic kit that can be shared and repurposed in any form or fashion (social, web, print, apparel).
Stylistically, I felt inspired by protest art of the past, sometimes messy and hastily thrown together, but also wanted the practicality of providing numerous options for folks who may use a variety of tools to bake. The result was a cohesive brand identity with several deliverables that were easy to share with those interested in supporting the cause.
Several amazing bakers lent their skills and time to the cause, resulting in over $2500 being raised to go to local anti-racist efforts and organizations.
